MANAGE YOUR HEALTH

There is a direct correlation between diet, physical activity, health, and your risk for getting COVID-19. Additionally, stressful situations, such as financial issues, family upheaval and loss, compounded by things such as diabetes or heart disease may result in an even more disastrous effect on your health; especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Other things, such as overall poor nutrition and sleep deprivation may tip the balance from healthy functioning to poor overall health, hence it is vitally important to maintain things such as prescription medication and reach out to your health advisor if things change.

Other than chronic diseases, if you are experiencing symptomatic issues such as fever, cough, or tiredness, speak with your health advisor and get tested. Your nutrition and physical well-being are vitally important regarding a robust immune system; increasing your chances for getting well after a coronavirus infection. Lastly, your diet and physical activity are extremely important during the coronavirus pandemic as chronic diseases, have a direct effect on your immune status and overall health. Consuming high fiber foods, while reducing junk food consumption may aid in preventing chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Stay well!!!
