The symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pains, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste and smell. Some people may also experience fatigue or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. This list is not all inclusive. While you are staying home, be sure to clean every high touching surface just to ensure your safety. Clean doorknobs, toys, tables, chairs, light switches, taps, bathroom surfaces, mobile phones, remotes controls, among others. Clean dirty surfaces and objects with water, soap or detergent and detergent/water to give them a thorough cleansing. Ensure to use products containing 70 percent alcohol. When doing all this, it’s important to use gloves, a mask and to have good ventilation. Remember to always wash your hands with soap afterward but if there is none available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Clean your sheets, clothes, and any garment you own regularly. Although fabric isn’t the most transferable method COVID19 is passed on, there is clothing that has materials like metal through which the virus could easily spread. When doing laundry, don’t shake clothes so you can lower the risk of spreading. Remember additionally, to wash your clothes in warm water then dry your clothing completely. Washing your laundry bag and hamper is also very important.
Instead of inviting family and friends over, you can communicate with them over the phone. Avoid eating and drinking in public spaces as this heightens the risk of you contracting the virus. COVID19, according to WebMB, lasts:
